The situation

HPCInfra is a startup providing SaaS-like developer experience with the flexibility to deploy preferred tools in a seamless environment, focused on semiconductor development companies. Chip-design and ML teams needed elastic, cost-efficient compute that the cloud couldn't price-match and on-prem couldn't flex. Toolchains were siloed across EDA vendors and ML frameworks, and teams wanted SaaS developer experience without giving up control of where workloads ran.

What we built

A hybrid HPC platform that orchestrates workloads across on-prem, public cloud, and burst capacity. On-demand lab environments for engineering, research, and ML training, plus a marketplace of curated tools with flexible licensing and workload-aware scheduling. We built various components of the platform over six months and supported the deployment of the solution at various customers.

The result

Companies and universities use HPCInfra to scale compute on demand, reduce time-to-market for critical projects, and consolidate spend across EDA tools and ML training — all behind a single developer experience.
